Participant Eligibility

New Little League Player Eligibility Guidelines for the 2025 Season

Players 4 through 7 years old

Starting in 2025, Players League Age 4-7 can play in any league of their family’s choice. There is no requirement to live or attend school in Morrisville Little League boundaries for players in this age group.

Players 8 and older

Registered Players 8 years of age or older are still required to follow Little League boundary rules and must reside or attend school in the league's geographic boundaries. However, if a player is 8 years or older and has a sibling that is 4-7 years old registered to play in Morrisville Little League boundaries, the older sibling(s) are also eligible to play in Morrisville Little League under the new Eligibility Guidelines for 2025.

For players 8 years and older that do not have a sibling under 7 registered for MLL, residency must be establish using one of the following two options:

Option 1: You are a resident of a municipality in Morrisville Little League Boundaries:

If you reside within the following municipalities, then you are eligible to join Morrisville Little League:

Morrisville Borough
Lower Makefield Township
Yardley Borough
Falls Township (limited areas)
Newtown (limited areas)

Option 2: Attending a School within Morrisville Little League Boundaries:

If your player is a student that attends one of the schools listed below within the Morrisville Borough School District, Pennsbury School District, or private school within the Morrisville Little League boundaries. With this option, you do not need to have a residence within the Morrisville Little League boundaries.

Proof of Eligibility:

During the Registration Process, each parent will be asked to establish eligibility for their player(s) by choosing either the school option or the residency option and provide proof based on Little League guidelines.

The documentation required by each option is listed below:

Residency Option: Please review this Residency Eligibility Checklist.
School Option: If selecting the school option, please complete and submit the Little League School Enrollment Form. When filling out the School Enrollment Form, please use 2382112 for the League ID Number.

Placement

Placement of players in the appropriate division is based upon the players age and skill level.

League Age
Morrisville Little League follows Little League International's age requirements. Little League International provides league age charts to determine the "League Age" of your player during the registration process.

During the registration process, you will be presented with the divisions your player is eligible for based on their league age.

Player Evaluations
Prior to the start of each spring season, Morrisville Little League will conduct player evaluations. All registered players aged 6 to 12 years should attend the evaluation with the exception of Majors eligible players (ages 11 and 12) who were drafted last spring by their Majors team. Players older than 12 do not attend.

Each player will participate in basic drills to assess fielding, hitting, and pitching skills appropriate for the division they are registered in. Volunteer coaches will assess each player and ensure their skill level is appropriate for the division and ensure the player's safety.

Drafts
After player evaluations are held, each player will be placed on a team in their division through the draft process. Each division has a different method of drafting and placing players on teams. Please review the appropriate division plan for more information on how players are placed.

Registration Process

All players participating in Morrisville Little League must register for each season online.

Fees, Payments and Financial Assistance

Fees

To fund the operations of Morrisville Little League, the following fees are required for all participants.

Division Registration Fee: This is the fee to participate as a player in each division. Each division charges a different fee. This fee covers costs for league operating expenses, including uniforms, equipment, field and facilities maintenance and other operating fees. Discounts are provided for families with multiple players registered (Spring Season Only).
Volunteer Deposit (Spring Season Only): A $75 volunteer deposit is included and only charged once per family. Each family is asked to cover one shift at the consession stand. The deposit is refunded following the completion of a family's shift.
Processing Fee: Each Transaction through SportsConnect includes a $3 processing fee.

Rookie Division Families:

Families registering for the Rookie Division will be charged a Division Registration Fee of $50 and a Volunteer Deposit of $75 at the time of registration.

Those fees will be refunded to families if the following criteria is met:
1) The registered player in the Rookie Division is playing their first Spring season at MLL. The Division Registration Fee of $50 will be refunded.
2) The family has player(s) registered only in the Rookie (Intro to Tee Ball) Division and meet the criteria for #1 above. The Volunteer Deposit of $75 will be refunded. The family is also not required to volunteer in the concession stand, but still can if they desire!

The League Player Agent will review all Rookie Division registrations to determine if they meet the criteria above and process all refunds to qualifying families by the start of the Spring Season.

This policy only applies to the Spring Season (does not apply to Fall Ball or other programs.)

Payments

Payment is required at the time of registration. Credit Cards are the preferred method of payment.

Financial Assistance

If you need financial assistance to pay for registration fees, T-Mobile offers the Call Up Grant program.

The T-Mobile Little League® Call Up Grant is dedicated to helping families in need by covering registration fees associated with their local Little League program. T-Mobile and Little League share the belief that every child should have the chance to experience Little League, regardless of their financial or personal situation.

The program opens before the Spring Season each year.
